Typically we operate between 7am – 3pm however we can tailor times to suit you and the tides for the best fishing opportunities. Once locked in for a trip with EZIFISH, our Skipper will contact you personally to confirm all the details, this will include weather updates and best attire to wear on the day.

18 person fishing capacity, 36 passenger capacity for wildlife cruises in enclosed waters.
*A minimum of 12 passengers are required before a charter can commence.
There is a 15% surcharge for charters booked on public holidays. See a list of New Zealand pubic holidays here.
From July 1st 2019 plastic bags will be banned throughout New Zealand, therefore we ask customers bring their own reusable, preferably sealable, containers for storing fish when they board a charter.
THE BOAT.
In 1992 Carey’s Picton boatyard designed and built the 19m Te Kahurangi, for a local fishing family, which initially caught Bluefin tuna. The Te Kahurangi (TK) has the latest fishing technology with WAASP; a 3D sounder and Maxsea TZ 3D imaging GPS plotter.
The TK is fully surveyed for 36 passengers in enclosed waters non fishing and 18 passengers inshore fishing.
The TK carries all safety and navigational equipment with life jackets and life rings for 20 passengers.
THE GEAR.
We only use the best of the best to provide you with a safe and successful fishing tour. The Te Kahurangi uses Shimano TDL 25 rod & reels with Aqua roller tips supplied by Qamaru Sports & Outdoors.
